Accounts Receivable/Collections Clerk Location: Orange, CA Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire Schedule: Onsite, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM Pay: $23 - $26 per hour About the Role: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable/Collections Specialist to join their team. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, this role is pivotal in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring efficient collections processes. Responsibilities: - Manage accounts receivable and oversee the collections process to ensure timely payments.
- Input financial transactions into accounting software with precision and speed.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledgers and bank statements.
- Assist with other accounting duties as needed to support the team.
Qualifications: - High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics preferred.
- A minimum of 1 year of collections experience.
- 1-2 years of accounting experience, with a strong emphasis on data entry.
- Quickbooks software preferred.
- Excel (basic-intermediate) required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and follow-through skills to ensure client satisfaction and internal coordination.
