Visionaries like you work on teams that save lives by developing the medicines of tomorrow.</p><p>Join us in developing treatments, finding cures, and pioneering the path from lab to life while championing patients every step of the way.</p><p>Learn more at <a href="https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine" target="_blank">https://www.jnj.com/innovative-medicine</a></p><p></p><p>Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a <b>Business Lead, Transportation, </b>within the North America Transportation Operations Team to be located in <b>Guaynabo,</b> <b>Puerto Rico.</b></p><p></p><h2><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></h2><ul><li><p><span>Manage door-door operational management for Johnson & Johnson NA transport lanes, ensuring consistent product availability and the highest levels of customer experience. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Responsible for coordination, track & trace, and exception management for segment inter-region transportation lanes. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Lead transport risk mitigation plan construction and its execution. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to present performance metrics and project charters/updates to various levels of management. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Lead/participate in operational management meetings (business reviews, reporting on operational vendor performance) and lead day-to-day tactical relationships with the vendors. </span></p></li><li><p><span>As required, partner with distribution Centers and manufacturing facilities to coordinate and manage freight on inter-regional lanes. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Partner with J&J Deliver Quality to ensure that transport operations is managed within the appropriate quality framework. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Primary point of contact for sites and logistics providers to communicate issues affecting shipment flows, including but not limited to missing documentation, freight delays, quality events and shipping receiving delays. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Perform ad-hoc operational analytics to drive day-to-day business efficiencies. </span></p></li><li><p><span>For Business Leads with a team of analysts reporting to them, the individual will be responsible for the oversight, management, and development of the analysts in accordance with the Credo and HR policies. </span></p></li></ul><p></p><h1><b><span>Qualifications</span></b></h1><h2><b>Education:</b></h2><ul><li><p>University/Bachelor’s or equivalent degree required.</p></li><li><p>MBA preferred.</p></li></ul><h2><b>Experience and Skills</b></h2><h2><b>Required:</b></h2><ul><li><p>Requires four to six (4-6) years of proven experience.</p></li><li><p>Experience in Transportation, Customer Service, Planning or Supply Chain.</p></li><li><p>Experience working with highly matrixed global organization, multi sector with heavy project management and influencing.</p></li><li><p><span>Knowledge of import/export process.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Understanding of US foreign trade relations.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Able to influence without authority.</span></p></li><li><p><span>Microsoft Office proficiency. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Solid problem solving and analytical experience. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to work in a matrix environment and work with different cultures. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Ability to demonstrate Integrity and Credo-based Actions. </span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred:</b></p><ul><li><p><span>Preferred previous experience in one or more functions: Planning, Distribution, Manufacturing, Transportation, Logistics, Customer Service or Supply Chain Operations. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Experience with Six Sigma/Process Excellence tools, training and/or certification. </span></p></li><li><p><span>Working knowledge of project management tools (Microsoft project, GANTT, RACI, Lessons learned, etc.). </span></p></li><li><p><span>Working knowledge of analytics tools.</span></p></li></ul><p></p><h2><b>Other:</b></h2><ul><li><span>Fluency in English & Spanish (verbal and written) is required.</span></li></ul><p><i> </i></p><p>Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
